Art Appreciation

General Information

The purpose of this group is to connect women who enjoy viewing, discussing, and learning about art. Each month we explore one aspect of art: an element of art, a particular art medium, an art movement, a specific artist, or an exhibit. Our focus is on increasing our knowledge of art.

New members are always welcome! The group meets the second Wednesday of each month.

Event Information

At our December 10th meeting, Eileen and Denise will lead a discussion related to performing arts!

Beforehand, we’ll view part of a reading of the play “Stupid Little Fire,” which was performed at the Playwrights Center.

Denise said, “I didn’t expect it to be so entertaining, but it was hilarious, with the audience laughing out loud throughout much of the performance.”

The recording will be reposted online in early December and you’ll be sent a link to it.

We’ll meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. by Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent closer to the date. I look forward to seeing you!

We rotate among group members to select and lead our art discussions each month. We need members to lead future meetings. Any artsy idea is welcome!
