NYC (P) – In His Footsteps: Edward Hopper’s New York (11 AM)
About this event
Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 11:00 AM
Edward Hopper lived for 50 years in Greenwich Village. His themes of isolation and ambiguity are reflected in the streets he walked and have cemented him as one of the greatest American artists of the 20th century.
Now walk in his footsteps as we tackle where Hopper lived, his joys and struggles, and the neighborhood that influenced some of his greatest works. Stops include his long-time home and the influences behind Early Sunday Morning, Nighthawks, The City, Drug Store, and The Sheridan.
*Optional Lunch: Pay-On-Your-Own
After the tour, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant for an optional Lunch to continue the conversation about the walking tour and enjoy each other’s company. Please plan to bring cash to cover your meal.
