Come join us at Broad Street Love in center city, and help provide a full restaurant-style, sit-down lunch service to guests who are experiencing deep poverty.

You will be part of a team that helps create a warm and welcoming dining experience by laying out table cloths, centerpieces, serving a chef prepared meal and cleaning up. This meal could be the only one these guests get in a day, so making the environment as welcoming as possible is important. Broad Street Love refers to this as 'Radical Hospitality'.  

Please Note:
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes -- you'll be getting all  your daily steps in.
- Avoid wearing jewelry for safety reasons.
- Bring a clip for your hair.
- During the meal, you'll be wearing an apron and disposable gloves provided by BSL.

In order to ensure appropriate staffing we have been asked to finalize our participating headcount one week beforehand, so this event closes registration on 1/19/26.

Broad Street Love provides stabilizing services to individuals experiencing deep poverty. They aim to meaningfully reduce the deep trauma and suffering caused by scarcity, and break the cycle of hardship, hunger, and housing insecurity in Philadelphia. In addition to daily meal services, Broad Street provides other essential services and support programs, including personal care, hygiene items, mail service, personalized guidance and more.

Broad Street Love offers lunch to over 300 guests every weekday. Their meals are professionally prepared, and made with locally-grown, organic ingredients provided by the Carversville Farm Foundation. Come help their guests enjoy an elevated dining experience.
