Come join the Supervisor of Croydon Creek Nature Center for an informative nature-based program at this hidden gem in Rockville, a 120-acre forest preserve with an open meadow, winding creek, and trails allowing views of abundant wildlife.
Although we won’t hike those trails this time, we will view and hear about native Maryland animals housed at the Center, including amphibians, turtles, snakes and Cricket the owl. We will also be able to view a 3D watershed model, an observational honeybee hive (that you can see into!), and a bird feeder station, along with a display of common backyard birds.
Afterward, we will have lunch at La Speranza at 806 Baltimore Rd. You can view their menu!
Attendees will be responsible for paying for their meal, drinks, tax, and a 20% tip.
