THE IMPACT OF HUMANITARIAN ACTION BY ONE PERSON
Hear from an American man so touched by the plight of enslaved children in Ghana, Africa, that he founded an organization to pull them out of their dire circumstances. Breaking the Chain Through Education’s Executive Director, Evan Robbins, a Social Studies teacher in NJ, talks about how he started this non-profit, after reading about these children and conducting a social action project to raise money for the cause with his students. One person can make a difference for so many others. Volunteering matters. We think this presentation will further empower those who already volunteer and motivate those wondering how they can get started.
